they’re neighbors okay!!
make a dragon wanna retire man
I’m so mad
I’M NOT. THAT IS BRILLIANT
decided to put these in a bit of a chronological order as i can’t help but form a story behind the scenes. it’s a storyteller’s habit. and yeah i do have an idea i would genuinely like to explore with gail simone as a crossover comic.
i don’t want to be the writer for this. but at the same time i always found diving into these things and exploring the character chemistry was the best way to get an artistic feeling for it.
this is also how i usually develop my own stories.
anyhow, while many think this is me drawing some shipping, in fact this a proof of concept for an adventure story featuring lara and diana. Gail simone at some point asked if they would kiss and i gave it some genuine thought. i am a character first kind of a writer, myself, so i contemplated this. then i decided, yes, probably.
after all, romantic subplots have been the bread and butter of adventure writing since its inception and i always liked that aspect of adventure stories.
i hope this puts some things in context from my end XD
and while
there will probably be a few more of these, there will be no nsfw pics. after all, camera pans away from indiana jones in those moments as well XD
okay… there may be a chance of a kiss… but that’s about it.
What is the heterosexual explanation for this???
None they’re gay
The one mystery the gang can’t solve is how anyone thinks they are straight
There are in high school! Wa?
Ye it’s best just not to think how that bit of lore logically makes any sense in continuity given that at least one of the gang is old enough to own and drive a van and apparently everyone, including their families and the authorities at large is fine with them/not able to stop them roaming around the country spending weeks or months at a time not getting any education and instead foiling crimes by people who like dressing up as monsters in abandoned funfairs or Old Spooky Mansions
the most logical guess is that they all got held back a few grades so they are all eighteen or older and legally able to do this stuff because otherwise them being in high school makes Literally No Sense
And so they are basically a van full of high school dropouts who refuse to let the system dictate their career paths when instead they can just catch Fake Ghosts in nets for a living
Which
Honestly
More power to them
Travelling the country in a van and catching Fake Ghosts sounds like a way better career than working in retail
This photo art looks like it’s from the Myteries Inc series of scooby doo where they’re I believe seniors in high school. By the end of the series they’re put on a cross country road trip to visit their professor friend at his university (said professor being I THINK Harlan Ellison, I don’t remember but it’s been a while). So by the time Mystery Inc ends, they’ve graduated high school and are on their way to college, solving mysteries along the way.
Authorities can’t stop them because they’re technically adults now and they’re actually solving shit as opposed to scratching their head and going “uhhhh I don’t know guys these ghosts sound legit”.
All that said, please watch Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc because the storytelling about their town of Crystal Cove is phenomenal, it follows a single story-line from beginning to end, building on each episode for the lore of the town and the continuity is great (as well as some very neat homage to the many contributors of the horror genre from movies, literature, and tv)! Plus they have awesome voice actors including actual Harlan Ellison, Lewis Black, and Vivica A. Fox.
Can you tell this is my favorite revamp of the series?
ALSO VELMA IS CANONICALLY LESBIAN AF ❤
And she has a girlfriend 😀
Following your “Childhood Dream” is basically letting an immature and less educated version of you decide your future.
Warm blooded creature: wow I’m chilly
